What sim are you flying? Have you added additional AI aircraft/traffic? Have you installed an AFCAD file for Schiphol?
What sim(?) determines what tools you can use to remedy the problems. Additional AI(?) might be filling up your gates. An AFCAD(?) that does not fit the visible scenery (i.e. was designed for a specific

You can try searching for it here or at
www.avsim.comOr you can use AFCAD to edit the airport your self it is not that hard to do then all you have to do is to add a line in the AI aircraft cfg's file 8-)
The AFCAD help file has the codes you need for AI parking 8-)

Jeremy,
To add to Gary's reply:
I didn't find any Afcad's for the default EHAM airport here at SimV. Goto AVsim, search the FS2004 Afcads category for file name 'eham_afcad2.zip'. It is for the default EHAM airport scenery and does a better job of aligning the AC to the gates. It also has 'atc_parking_codes=' assigned for real world ICAO airline codes. If your AI aircraft have matching codes they will park at the 'proper' gates rather than bunch up.
The 'WT' I used is just an example. You can use up to 4 characters (letters and/or numbers) for the code.
For real world airlines,
