AI aircraft doesn't notice me

Hi,
When I taxi to the assigned runway, I hold short, then I taxi into the runway and I wait for clearance for takeoff, there is an AI aircraft behind me taxiing to the runway. That MD80 AI aircraft doesn't notice me and passes straight through me. WHY?

Is that MD80 you speak of cleared by the tower together to you? Are you both cleared or does it go on its own with no ATC clearance? :-?

If you were told to "hold short" you shouldn't be ON the runway. You should
be waitning at the hold short node for takeoff clearance. Only then should
you procedd onto the runway.

Once you passed that hold short node the tower is going to assume you've gone
and will clear the AI onto the runway. At least that's my best guess as to what
happened.
