All of the AI aircraft park at the correct gates, and when my aircraft taxis to the stand, it never taxis to the correct gate, it always goes to the first gate available based on the gates order in the Parking list, no matter what airline or airliner I fly. I have checked to make sure all of the codes are correct, there are gates available, and the radii are not too small. Does anyone know what to do? I have heard a rumor that the gate codes only work for AI traffic... Is that true?

Parking codes; i.e., atc_parking_codes=AAL only apply to AI traffic and NOT to user aircraft.
Reference cited: Lee Swordy's AF2 Readme: "35. Parking Assignments for AI Aircraft - Note that parking codes are used for AI only and FS will not use codes to designate parking for user aircraft."

So, it's more than a rumor . . . it's a fact.
