Linking AI + User Aircraft

Hello.

I need some help with linking AI aircraft with your USER Aircraft....

All the AI Aircraft are parked all together. Such as like 7 british airways next to each other, virgin atlantic next to each other etc. However, say I am a British Airways. How do I park next to British Airways AI Aircraft. Because when I contact ground they always park me with different AI Aircraft than my actual aircraft company, Such as me being a British Airways, But Ground parks me next to BMI. How do I change it so Ground parks me next to my own aircraft's AI (British Airways)?

Thank you,

In AFCAD you must define a series of nearby parkings like assigned preferably to a single airline, in your case British Airways. Once that is made you must control inside your plane's .cfg file that the line atc_airline= tells ATC that you are piloting a British Airways bird, and the line: atc_parking_types= assigns you preferably to the same kind of parking you assigned to the British Airways.

Once this is done ATC SHOULD direct you toward the correct parkings.

Disclaimer:
Default FS2002/FS9/FSX ATC is provided with high grade Artificial Idiocy, and I said "SHOULD". No responsibility is taken in this instance for ATC showing the great scatological coding made by M$ directing you toward another parking in spite of having put to work my suggestions. :P

I believe that ATC will direct you, the user aircraft, to the nearest parking place
that is of the correct size and type for your aircraft. Those entries in the CFG file as to
atc_airline=  are used for ATC to use the correct callsign for your aircraft.
I do not believe that they will affect where they tell you to park. AI aircraft are
treated differently than the user aircraft.

One can always hope, and anyway, that's the way I put some order in my Kai Tak. ;)

The following entry in your aircraft.cfg file will instruct ATC to send you to specific parking (code).

in the [fltsim.x] section for your aircraft/paint, edit or add this line:

atc_parking_codes=

Parking codes; i.e., atc_parking_codes=AAL only apply to AI traffic and NOT to user aircraft.
