Vanishing Traffic

I know that FS9 makes AI disappear after a short while. I was watching a busy morning at London Heathrow and the Korean Jumbo enroute to Kai Tak disappeared because it got fed up with waiting in the queue of traffic at 27L.
Is there any way one can change the time before an AI disappears or even disable it?

I know how he feels. ::)
A solution that i have found to work, is to use AFCAD to make one runway landing only and one runway take off only. It really speeds up the takeoff queue. I hate it when i'm in a queue of 8 planes and we're waiting for others to land, while there's another runway just as big not being used.
I'm in the process of editing as many large airports as i can this way in FS9 (adding parking while i'm at it.)

I already do that for London Heathrow. Maybe 8:30 am is just too busy. It's quite a trek from Terminal 3 to 27L !!!
Maybe i'll upset the pax by closing the check-in 5 or 10 minutes earlier!!!
