I was flying around Heathrow when i realized that the a/c parked at the gate closest to the runway were actually inside the terminal, with the tail and wings sticking out. Anyway to fix this? im using the default Heathrow settings with Project AI and World of Ai ai traffic...

Download AFCAD and move the parking spots back or you can download an AFCAD for Heathrow.

Are you sure you have not added any scenery for the Hethrow area. I also use project AI but not the world of Ai and do not have this problem and I doubt if the world of Ai is the problem here as AI uses the parking spaces that are assigned to that airport it does not create parking spaces. But one way to find out for sure is to use AFCAD when you go to load HETHROW it will let you know if this is the orignal or a dupicate, if there is a duplicate you have to decide if you want to keep it and edit that file or remove it and use the default which I do not think you will have a problem with unless you are using some traffic that i do not use. I have not actually checked out hethrow using afcad to see if any of the parking spots are in error. 8)

Open the AF2_FILE.bgl in AFCADv221 and drag the offending parking spot until it is clear of obstacles (should take all of about a minute and 57 seconds)

"Open the AF2_FILE.bgl in AFCADv221 and drag the offending parking spot until it is clear of obstacles."

"i changed the afcad, placed the bgl into the Addon Scenery,"

By default, AFCADv221 will save the edited AF2_EGLL.bgl to the Default FS9 folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery

When FS9 is restarted you will see the "Building Scenery Files": message.

Here's a screenshot showing a sample edit:
