Deserted airport!

I recently downloaded Kai Tak from AVSim. The package is great with full scenery across the bay and on the airport including curved approach lights. I have made successful landings day and night. BUT, there is no AI the place is deserted!!!!!!  They are all going to the new airport. Do I really have to delete that and if so will the AI go to Kai tak?
Short of lowering the landing fees I don't know how to entice the AI back.
Any ideas chaps?  Or Chapesses!
Many thanks Vololiberista

No you do not have to delete any airport but you more than likely will have to make AI traffic for that airport but before you do that use AFCAD to make sure there are parking places assigned if there are no parking spaces then there can be no AI flights in or out of the airport
If you find no parking spaces then make some to see if that will generate AI traffic.
By usuing TTOOLS you can decompile the traffic file it will produce two .TEXT files one called airports and one called aircraft. If you look at the airport file you can see if your airport is in the file if not then you will have to make some. If you find your airport then you do not have any or enough parking spaces at the airport for traffic the STATIC aircraft might be taking it all up. 8)

Many thanks for your reply. The AFCAD file does exist with all the parking properly designated.  So I will have to acquire TTools to add it.

I have to say that the approach is much easier in real life than on the sim. Due to a wider field of vision and more responsive control inputs!!!!! My experience goes back to the early 70's when the BOAC VC10's used to fly there!!
