Help with AFCAD

Postby c731153 » Thu Jun 08, 2006 4:50 pm

I  have been trying  to load  KDEN  afcad into  FS2004 for  the  last  two  days  with no  success. will it  work in  2004 or just  2002?

I  need  real  simple  directions  as I seem  to be  missing  something.  Also  any  feedback on  Traffic  Magician?
Thanks  for your  help!!!!

Read this and it should help you:

If this link doesn't help you, come back and let us know what happened.

Hi Thanks  for  the  fast  reply. I  should  have mentioned  that i  am  trying  to  fly  for  a  virtual  airline  west  wind  and  I  was  following  the  directions from their  web site.  http://www.flywestwind.com/Scenery/denverterm.htm

i  just  moved  4  text  folders into  my FS9/addon scenery/scenery  directory  and rebooted  Fs9  but  still no  luck. the  instructions indicate I  should be compiling  and de compiling  with TT  and then  use  Thmas  Molitor's   Traffic  Mover.  I  think it  may just  be  a little  bit  too  complicated  for me.
Any  further  suggestions  would  be  appreciated.
Thanks

The Afcad download is for FS2002 only. The 4 .txt files are 'import' files that must be processed by Afcad 1.x (or the included AFInstaller.exe) which is for FS2002 only.

The 4 .txt files are not involved with their discussion about TT or Traffic Mover (paragraphs 2 thru 5 under Installation in the Readme.txt). That discussion has

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
