Can you pick out the issue

Postby Madcat » Sun Apr 09, 2006 12:17 am

I know I sure can't. The screen shot is of the files plus AC#s 60-70 are not showing up. The Evo A/C have a much longer flightplan.

And here is the flight plan just in case you can not read it:

AC#69,547,1%,12Hr,VFR,09:00:00,TNG10:14:53,050,R,0438,KIAG,13:59:53,TNG15:29:53,050,R,0438,KIAG

If I can get this 1 to work right then I can get the rest of them.

thx

AC#69,547,1%,12Hr,VFR,09:00:00,TNG10:14:53,050,R,0438,KIAG,13:59:53,TNG15:29:53,050,R,0438,KIAG

You have a 'timing' problem.

As this flight has a 12hr repeat period you must keep your times within the period of 00:00:00 to 11:59:59.

Further, the legs must progress thru the time period, from earliest to latest.

You have 2 options here, depending on your intended schedule:

Reorder the time within the 12hr repeat;
AC#69,547,1%,12Hr,VFR,01:59:53,TNG03:29:53,050,R,0438,KIAG,09:00:00,TNG10:14:53,050,R,0438,KIAG
this will repeat the flight am and pm.

Or change the repeat time to 24 hr and you will get the flight as you have it layed out.

Dave

Also keep in mind that all flights are flown GMT time, not local time.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

These issues were addresed in another SimV thread without any response from the poster.

Remember: There are two sets FS9 flightplans.txt: the one the author creates and the one FS9 creates.

To troubleshoot a Flightplan.txt file, Decompile the FS9 created traffic_FILE.bgl after Compiling and examine this file -- it's the only traffic_FILE.bgl FS9 is using.

Change the cycle to 24HR and make the flights IFR and see what happens.
These TNG  flights takeoff at 9:00:00 and do TNG until 10:14:53 then sit there until13:59:53 when they start TNG until landing at 15:29:53

Adding the 12HR cycle gives: 21:00-22:14 then 01:59-03:29

[b]:-[ <---that is how I feel however it is a mistake that I will remember NOT to make.

After tring out so few of the suggestions and with no result I read the F/Q in TTools and replaced a few flights with default A/C. To my superise it still did not work so that meant that the problem was with the plan. A rather LARGE problem. So after beating my head against the desk I stared at the TTools window.

Good. Now, if you could remember to turn Bolding off in you posts, we'd all feel better.
