No...re started the sim.......changes do not show.
Also, if I reopen the airport in AFCAD it only shows the default airport listed, not the modified airport........

Hi Dave

Well since the last post I have been playing around. From the AFCAD help I assumed you just dumped the revised .bgl in /add on scenery and FS would find it, I have since tried putting the revised .bgl in it's own folder and adding it to the scenery within FS9 and it seems to work fine. If that is the right way to do it thats fine although the help file did not make that clear..........well not to me anyway.... ::)

That depends on where you dump it within 'addon scenery'.

...\Addon Scenery\AF2_xxxx.bgl-------wont work
...\Addon Scenery\scenery\AF2_xxxx.bgl----FS should find it on next boot as 'Addon Scenery' is registered.

Up until now, I thought (S)aving an edited AF2 files was pretty straight-foward -- apparently it's not.

Wiji..........Thank you for your reply.

I did in fact read the AFCAD help file in detail before posting my problem........not wishing to waste any'ones time with trivial problems, however, as you posted from the help file......................"and the destination folder will default to the FS9 Addon Scenery folder. You would normally just click OK to accept "..................The \Addon scenery \folder is not the correct address.......it should read "Addon Scenery\scenery......or am I wrong?

Addon Scenery\scenery is correct as the default. The files
will be seen and work just fine in any scenery sub-folder
in the Addon Scenery directory;

  Addon Scenery
        Your Folder      <---- must be activated
             scenery

When placed in the default location you don't have to do
anything additional. If in a different subfolder, that subfolder
would have to be activated in the scenery setup screen.
