Adding Aircraft Traffic, airport gates, etc, to your Sim - AFCAD, TTools, Project AI, AI Aircraft, etc

project AI

Postby batmanflies » Tue Dec 06, 2005 9:27 am

Hi guys! I've been wondering, how do I get the airports really really busy, 24/7? Currently, I have Project AI installed with the default flight plans and aircraft I got from here, but, the airports aren't exactly busy at all. I've tried to download the flight plans from www.projectai.com, but they all have aircrafts tagging along AND, i don't have those aircrafts. So, any help on simplifying the addition of flight plans and aicrafts?

Hi Batman....Get to the website you gave the link for...select Official files from the lefthand side and then choose Airlines or Cargo or whatever from the list........download and install as many of the different airline packages as you wish.........there are loads to choose from all complete with flightplans and Aircraft.

....then in Settings, choose Traffic and get tick the boxes and set the slider to what you want..I have mine at 95%........

..The more packages you install, the busier you will find the airports......choose some with airlines that are likely to use the airports you use......for instance Easyjet use Luton a lot, etc etc..........

..You'll be glad to get rid of some when you are on hold for an hour waiting to cross a busy runway, believe me...commoner. ;D

I have tried Commoner's suggestions, my they are quite easy. Only thing now is - I get a message that there is an active session of TTools. Please close all active sessions of TTools before continuing. (Message appears in PAI installer). Thing is, I do not even have TTools active! Suggestions anyone?

...Hi BF...is that preventing you from installing the packages?...if not then I wouldn't worry about it......just enjoy the new AI planes you have.........commoner
