Could someone be good enough to give me advice on how to correct the following problem:  Have downloaded scenery updates for Glasgow Airport UK (by Iain Gallacher) and although the scenery is excellent, the default aircraft are positioned on grass & taxiways.  With thanks. Dave.

You need to install a modified Afcad file for the airport, or modify it yourself using Afcad

Search in the AVSIM library for af2_egpf.zip
That's the one you need.
Put it in Addon Scenery\scenery\ folder
Cheers

"Put it in Addon Scenery\scenery\ folder"

I cannot confirm the availability of any AF2 file for this scenery but the hierarchy of FS9's AF2 files dictates it will still access the (any) AF2 file (the offending one in this instance) located in the addon Glasgow/scenery file BEFORE looking in FS9/Addon Scenery\scenery\ folder.

Therefore, remove the offending AF2 from the Glasgow/scenery (before or after) "Putting it in Addon Scenery\scenery\ folder"

The other alternative is to replace the Glasgow/scenery/AF2_file with the updated one.

This hierarchy can be confirmed by opening any airport AF2 file in AFCAD2 and viewing the hierarchy in the list provided -- top AF2 is number one -- first accessed. View File/Properties to find the folder location.

P.S. We all agree with Lee's Readme: "When you do want to save changes to the airport then click Save or Save As. A Save As window will open with a default file name assigned such as AFC_KORD.bgl, and the destination folder will default to the FS9 Addon Scenery folder."

Having said all this about all that . . . some scenery authors place the AF2 file in with the /scenery folder and as we say out west here: Deal with it!
