My AI takes-off but doesn't land?

I have set a flightplan from Beale AFB to RAF Mildenhall AB in the UK.

The KC135 takes-off on time but the return flight from Mildenhall doesn't land at the time estimated by Yroute.

Is there anyway to find out whether the aircraft is landing at a different time or is the predetermined time shown in yroute the exact time the AI will land?

Are there any reasons why AI won't land at your airport? Do the AI aircraft run out of fuel?  ???

Thanks in advance for any help.....

I don't have time to check the airports you note but genrally FS9 military airports don't have any parking spaces.

Having said that, the AF2 readme states:
"Arrival time:
This is the estimated time of arrival at the destination airport. This can be used in two ways: compiler calculated arrival times or user defined fixed arrival times.

By default, this field will be calculated by the compiler and you do not have to fill it in. In fact, the compiler will ignore anything you put in this field so you can just leave it blank (e.g. ,00:00:00, or just , , ). When the compiler calculates this value it is actually the arrival time in the airport

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your quick reply! I will take a look at the arrival times tomorrow. It's tricky really cos I haven't really got time after work to sit and wait for the AI to arrive at the airport, but I will do as you do and advance the game speed up - that way I can't waste too much time getting eye strain and can make sure that they either don't land, or they land!!!!!!!

By the way the Beale AFB AFCAD has 8 parking spots for tankers (didn't want to ruin frame rates too much by adding the real amount) and only 4 tanker departures at the moment so there are plenty of free parking spots.

Anyways, I'll give your suggestion a try tomorrow night.

Thanks.

David, you are aware that the time in Yroute is ZULU time and not local time right?

Double check the time of arrival and then sit there waiting for it to arrive.

There is a traffic SDK where you can launch the explorer and track the AI within a certain distance of your airport.

This is how I track my AI flights. I've read about  Traffic View Board (TVB) over on PAI Military forums but haven't tried it myself. Appears it allows you to follow your AI plane all the way through.

When speeding up the game you can only go 4x and then it removes the AI.

I would just load up Mildenhall and make sure you have other places than the runway to start from. If you do then the AI should land there.

I have a RAF package up at the normal sites if you need some RAF bases with parking ;)

Ah got it sorted now. It appears that one flightmodel I was using for one of my AI types wasn't able to land! I changed the flightmodel to another and it worked! The other AI types are landing now thanks to using the set time function.

Thanks guys.
