when compiling (or decompiling) with ttools, you have 3 files - aircraft, flightplans and airports. what exactly is this "airports" files function?
my second question has to do with the first one:i installed all aircrafts and flightplans for an airline, but there was no "airports" file incuded...and none of the planes is showing up. Im sure there is enough parking space, cause I deleted all default-traffic. so on some airports where my newly installed ai-jets should stand there is just no-one!
thx for helping...

your "stock" fs includes only a portion of the world's airports. Notice that the title of this forum is AFCAD AND TRAFFIC TOOLS The AFCAD  download is the one that allows you to ADD AIRPORTS to your system, quite easily.

Ok...so I just checked inside the "airports", and the airport in question is there. Still no traffic! Strange, because Ive been doing this lots of times and it always worked! ???

whoops, pardon me, I misspoke. AFCAD ALLOWS YOU TO MODIFY AIRPORTS.If the airport in q is in the airport.cfg file you can check AFCAD to see if there is parking (some, several, have zero parking) or to add parking. If the airport is not listed in airport.cfg you can add it using the lat/long/alt figures from AFCAD.PAPA-METRO USAF 1953-57
