how do I change take-off / landing direction?

I'm new to AFCAD but found it pretty easy to use to add parking spots, taki-ways etc.. The problem  I'm having is that planes aren't landing and taking off in the correct direction on the runway- taking off to the north for instance when in reality they would take off to the south at my local airport. How do I change this?

:)Open up AFCAD
Click on File
Click on open airport
type in your airport...   example...  KJFK   click search click ok
Click on List
Click on runways
Now in the box you will need to highlight the runway
Then click properties and  the rest is history.
Close open you should see what you are looking for. ;D

wouldn't the wind direction have a say in which RW the plans take off?

Try changing the wind direction so they are flying off the runway you want.

Planes always will use the run way that has them heading into the wind as much as possile the less cross wind the better. Beleive it or not each type of plane has a max crosswind that it can land in and landing into a tail wind is a big nono. When at your favorite check the attis to find out which runway is being than go into map mode to pick a different runway then change the wind so it is blowing that way

Thanks for the suggestions. My computer hard drive fried the other day so I haven't been able to try anything out. (I'm e-mailing from the public library right now- and getting internet withdrawal!). I'll try these suggestions as soon as I'm up and running again.
