I read the AFCAD 2.11 tutorial and adding an ILS to a runway seems pretty straight forward:

Open an airport, select the runway, specify a radio frequency and save the airport file

However, when I go back to FS 2004 and dial the new ILS frequency into VOR 1, I can't get a Visual Flight Path

I don't know if I'm missing something or if I have the wrong idea about what AFCAD is designed to do. (I originally thought it was airport design software)

If AFCAD is not the right program, what do I need to add ILS to FS 2004 runways?

Any help would be appreciated

Jerry, the latest version of AFCAD in Beta will fix this. The current one shows it but it won't stay fixed.

Head over to the PAI AFCAD forum to get the beta for testing, you just can't upload any files created with it untill the beta phase is over
