First thing is you check on the AFCAD and TTools forum and see what everyone's so excited about.

Then you download both progs (I'm certain you can get the latest versions from the SimV download section)

Then you plough through both ReadMes

Then you go back to the forum to get answers to any queries you have - the guys there know everything there is to know about both progs - don't you guys? ;)

THEN you start having the most fun you can have with your clothes on (er....so I've been told) - reorganising and adding AI planes to all your favourite airfiels until they're even better than real life.

That's how we all did it, I think ;)

THEN your wife starts complaining about how much time you spend playing FS.  THEN of course, you must download Project AI and you'll spend even more time because THEN you'll wind up downloading every package they have and spend days installing them.  By THEN you'll be hooked and want to start making planes, so you'll get in GMAX and spend days on IT!  THEN your wife will leave you and she'll take the dog, the kids, the car, and everything else, but THEN it won't matter because you'll be so busy playing FS you'll never notice...

who has time to play MS anymore, I'm too busy creating more military afcads to play  ;) Beware though, it's very addicting.

I would also suggest downloading Yroute, just do a search on this forum, I've posted links. This way you don't need to write out your flight plans by hand.
