I have been reading several sites and have seen a lot of updates on airports that place a larger number of planes at each.

I dont presently have a desire to learn AFCAD2 (where you design your own), but my question is this...

I dont have to install AFCAD if I want to download some airports and facilities data all I have to do is download the file and place in the addon scenery/scenery and let it self install?

Help would be greatly appreciated

AFCAD 2 is for FS2004. You wont need AFKAD unless you want to create more parking, which is a good idea if you have lots of AI installed. AFKAD 2 makes a seperate .bgl instead of editing the default AFD, it will overide the default AFD. Just add the .bgl to addon scenery/scenery like you said. If you dont like it, just remove the .bgl.
