Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum but not new to FS thought but anyhow, In FS2002 I used to have a program which would replace the default traffic planes with my addon planes I had in my FS2002. I was looking forward to something like this for FS2004 but haven't found anything yet and I have absolutely no idea how I to use TTools even thought I tried to figure it out. So does anybody here know a program that would automatically do the job for me (as it did in FS2002) and replace the default traffic planes with my addon onse? And if there is no such program made for FS2004, can somebody then tell me how to use TTools step by step? I will be really appreciative of your help and assistance guys! So thanks very much!  ;)

Project AI has an auto installer which adds more real life traffic airlines.

Hi, I have one question here regarding the installation of Project AI. Does it affect the default FS2002 airplanes and also does it delete or have any impact in my other installed airplanes? I have read that it changes the aircraft.cfg file...

not at all, in fact you sometimes have multiple AI planes flying into the same airport. Project AI creates it's own bgl files.

So you can actually remove the stock AI bgl and just run the PAI bgl.

And appart from the AI planes in any case it does not affect the playable planes (those I fly). Correct?

I was wondering, will I be able to also usd my downloads as AI traffic. For example having meljets or posky planes work as AI. Any replies would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.  ;)

correct ;)

JVC, if you want to add planes you've downloaded as AI you need to go into the aircraft.cfg and copy the title line into your airplane.txt in your ttools folder.

That easy :)

Hello JVC, just a quick note,
AI are hard on your frame rates. The ProjectAI Aircraft are designed to be very frame rate friendly, thus they are sometimes missing cockpits, detailed graphics, etc.... because they are there for "eye candy".
Your Posky and Mel Jet aircraft are pretty nice planes with all the bells and whistles. Having ALOT of them flying around your airports might present a frame rate hit.
You can always edit the files but Project AI has a very WIDE selection of traffic that I am sure will keep you busy,....downloading and flying! LOL

You are right. I just thought if I could put a few of those not too many because it will dramatically affect my frame rate. Thanks for your advice!  :)

PAI aircrrafy have less framerate impact compared to the stock ones.
My over-filled schiphol has nearly the same FPS as when it's nearly empty
