Haven't used it yet (as I don't have FS2004) but the separate progs have been merged.

As it's possible to make some mighty goofers with AI traffic that can affect program performance I'd wait until someone with more experience comes along with some specific instructions (although Lee Swordy's readme seems pretty good to me) OR you'd better take a backup copy of your FS2004 folder before you start experimenting.

If you're using FS2002, I'd get hold of an earlier TTools version if you haven't got it already and get up to speed on that before switching to 2.02 even though the new TTools version detects which sim it's working on.

Ahh... just re-read your post. Suggest you definitely get hold of an earlier TTools version. I use 1.33 which works just fine and is easy to use. When you understand the nuts and bolts and know what to watch out for that I would have thought is the time to switch.

Only a suggestion though.... ;)

To make an aircraft AI, open Ttools V 2.02 and decompile. Edit the aircraft.txt and type in the name of your plane, replacing another AI. Open TTools again and compile. Simple as that ;D

Or simpler, use AI Traffic mover to edit the files after you decomplile them. Or even simpler, get the airline packages and installer from project AI.

If you are using FS2004...... not 2002...... you'll need the newest version of TTools.  I THOUGHT, however, that it was backwards compatible with FS2002 also?  Hum........

Another "front end" for TTools is something called yRoute. Both yRoute and AITrafficMover make keeping track of all the info in TTools easier by getting you away from large txt files full of comma delimited information that is hard to decipher.

Last I checked..... AITrafficMOver does not work with the new TTools........ but that may have changed by now.
