Please can anyone help ?  

I have downloaded some aircraft mainly for AI use but I am finding that some appear to be either sinking into  or floating above the ground.

Am I stuck with this or is it a matter of adjusting a file ?

Here's a previous thread that you will find useful.  It shows you how to adjust the contact points in the Aircaft.cfg file to fix that problem:

I used the information and now my aircraft are on the ground and not in mid air.
