AFCAD Crashes At Start Up

I was hoping that someone can help me! I downloaded the AFCAD program and have installed the FSUIPC dll in the modules folder the 2.974 version. I am running windows XP professional and have FS in a seperate hard drive partition along with the AFCAD program in a folder just for FS support programs. For the life of me I dont understand why it is not working. When I run the exe file for the AFCAD it starts to load up and then I get the message "Windows encountered an error and will now shut the program down. I dont get it! Any ideas would be greatly appresiated.

Alan,

I would recommend reposting this message in "fs2002."  I'm not an expert on the matter, but I know there has been some discussion about an update for Windows XP that has caused problems woth fs2002 and other programs associated with it.......
