Great New Observation Tool

I reccomend this to all people usinging AFCAD, it is awsome to check your work. Very cool idea.

It is a "Mobil Control Tower". Here is the discription at http://www.flightsim.com:
FS2002 Mobile Control Tower. Full 360 degree view on 5 different levels with virtual cockpit or on your keeboard with Active Camera Pro 1.3. Control the incoming and outgoing traffic on your RADAR screen, listen simultaneously to both tower and ground radios, watch outside temperature and winds-- all on your tower panel. For AFCAD designers, an great tool to check the exact situation of gates, taxiways, runways. For the AI traffic builders and TrafficTools users: the best way to check your complete traffic with the "traffic accelerator" (up to 4x) and two watches with real and GMT times. All this without leaving the comfort of your "mobile control tower" armchair. By Ronald R. Cachemaille.

It is amazing and I recomend that you all get it. So far it only seems to be avaliable at http://www.flightsim.com, and the file name is mctrrc69.zip .

just thought you guys should know ;)
Sincerely,
Me

:D

Hey I like the look of this.

In one of the (many!!) threads we get about 'what do you want to see in FS2004' one of the things I suggested was an independently pannable and zoomable control tower view with selectable radio frqs.

Looks like I might have got it!!

Tried it out and it is great :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
You can position with "Yaw" and listen in to both tower and ground and zoom in and out.
I used to do this from an aircraft but you could only position it above ground in "Yaw" and didnt get sound

new update for this file:
rcmctw87.zip

FS2002 Mobile Control Tower Version II. New rotating engine rotates the tower for a cockpit full 360 degree view on 5 different levels or with the virtual view. Completely re-designing of the main panel for a more professional look and new 7 panels for other views. Now listed as mobile tower in the FS2002 planes list with 1 to 5 levels variation. The tower moves easily and rapidly from one level to another without FS2002 reloading scenery textures, and others. Traffic AI remains active. Revolutionary rotating and positioning engines by Rob Barendregt. Inclusion of Rodolfo Arata's AI Map. Precise and exact "GoodYear Blimp" view ideal for AFCAD designer. Serves also as mirador or observatiopn tower anywhere. Use kneeboard with AI traffic schedules for present airport. By Ronald R. Cachemaille. (Previous version had 2885 downloads.)
