Hi there!
I need a little help since I've just start using FSX steam/acceleration pack. I tried to install some addons, some working fine some others not working at all. In particular I have recently added the MB339 and Tornado GR9 packages which once installed in Simobjects folder appear on the list of available airplane. Nevertheless once selected and if trying to flight them, they are clean with no painting at all. But in the list they appear painted. I am sure there is something wrong in the texture/ariplanes.cfg. BUt no clue.
Anyone could help please???

I'm willing to bet there is nothing wrong with the textures or the cfg files.
First, make sure your file structure is correct. Use stock aircraft folders for an example.

Next, turn off dx10 preview. Not all addons are compatible with this.

Beyond that, i have no other suggestions other than spend the next 6 or 7 years learning the intricacies of FSX:se just like we all did with FSX before steam version.

Researching this and many other FSX forums will probably turn up some helpful tips too.
