Beware when Googling for FS files to download. There are a lot of fraudulent sites out there that lure you into downloading what appears to be a legitimate file, when in fact they are Hijackers or Adware.
If you just so much as hover over the “download now” button, it will cause your zip or download manager to automatically download. One such program is “snap do-search.” This is a mal-ware hijacker that will install as a default search page on your MSIE, Google Chrome or Firefox browser. It is extremely annoying and though it is simple to remove, takes hours of research to find the solution.
Snap.do entraps their users to unethical terms, or without user consent, often bundled with additional software, including malware, most notably spyware applications. Snap.do bundles with many other dangerous malware applications and internet browser objects, including third-party add-ons, extensions, plug-ins, and toolbars, as well as software and files including freeware, shareware, codecs, and torrents.
Just be warned to download files from a trusted site only, especially FS files.
