hi, I have recently been flying around london city airport and was wondering if ai traffic there does the steep approach that is done in real life

If you have custom AI installed, you should see BAe's and Fokker's and such coming in and out

When it comes to AI I would not bet on it following anything in the real world. This is really true when it comes to approaches. The approach you speak of is more than likely a STAR and FS ATC completely ignores them for the most part. 8-)

Maybe we'll get a more realistic ATC in FS18 ;)
