Hi - I am now a bit used to work with AFCAD, and I wonder if there is some functionality to create different taxiway-pathes and starting-points for different kind of aircrafts. The reason is simple: in case all aircrafts try to take off from the same point this leads quite often to a traffic-jam on ground. Why not defining the starting-point of a DashQ4-400 different than a B747? Same: in reality different entries to the RWY are used at the big airfields, not all the planes use the same entry to the RWYs ... any suggestions?

You can add as many taxiways as you like to any airport and you can move or create starting points where ever you want. You just need to make sure that after adding taxiways you run the error checker to make sure you are not missing any nodes because if you get it wrong the taxiways will not be used by AI and the sim will not recognize them.
I do not think that you can specify which planes are to use which taxiways though I think the deciding factor on the use of taxiways could be the size of the aircraft and the length of the runway to be ued for take off and of course the amount of traffic allready on the taxiway 8-)
