Parking assignments

Postby vololiberista » Tue Nov 07, 2006 1:56 pm

Fs9 seems to ignore parking assignments made in Afcad2. For example at Kai Tak I desgnated the cargo area heavy parking all to be assigned to CPAC Cathay Pacific Cargo 747's. However, they steadfastly refuse to go there and take other ramp and gate possitions where they would not normally be seen.  Fs9 seems to put a/c where it wants. How can i solve this if at all? Thanks

Make sure the parking spots are big enough for a 747. If you're using "Ramp Cargo", change the radius to the "Gate Heavy" size (177.17).

" Fs9 seems to ignore parking assignments made in Afcad2"

But did you assign them with the AF2 Tools/Aircraft Editor?
Remember" computers don't understand "just about"

Reference cited: AFCAD2 Readme:
"37. Aircraft Editor
The Aircraft Editor window, called from the Tools menu, allows you to adjust all the parking related parameters for aircraft you have installed.  These parameters are stored in the aircraft.cfg files and .mdl files. Here are the controls on that window:"

Cathay Pacific's code in my sim is three-letters: C-P-A
