Adding Aircraft Traffic, airport gates, etc, to your Sim - AFCAD, TTools, Project AI, AI Aircraft, etc

Air Force One AI

Postby partyboy911 » Sun Jul 23, 2006 11:12 pm

Hey Everyone.

I am looking for anyone who has the Airforce One escort thing installed.

I put the 2 folders (ai_hn_pari and Air Force One) into my aircraft folder.

Then I downloaded TTools since it is a raw file giving me "aircraft" and "flightplans".

I toke a guess and decompiled the stuff, and added the Aircraft numbers and flight plans.

After editing I compiled the Aircraft and Flightplan txt file into traffic.blg.

I am sitting at the airport since i looked at Y Route and it said AC#500 IFR 2 Legs one said it departs KDCA 21:13:02 GMT every 24 hours...nothing yet.

Did i do it right?

It sounds as if you did it right but we need to see the exact line you entered as you might have forgot some of the commas or some other little thing.
Or in other words the syntax of the line has to be right or it will not work a common in the wrong place or leave one out is all it takes to totally confuse ttools so it will not build the plan. I am not sure about this one but try decompliing it again and see what you get for the airports and aircraft if you do not see anything at all for the plan you added then the complier skipped your entry thus not producing the plan. 8)

Another tool that may help is the FS2004 TrafficToolbox SDK from MS.

The 'TrafficToolbox.dll' will put a new 'Tools' menu on your FS2004 menu bar.

From the 'Tools' menu the 'Explorer' will list the state of

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Ok, here is the Flight Plan file...

With one of the default plane's flight plan in there on the top just to show that i put it underneath it.

Edit: On the aircraft I deleted the last default entry since it was way too long.

The mistake that pops out is in the first 3 flightplans, ORBS->KDCA->ORBS.

The departure times are earlier than the previous arrival times, i.e.-1st leg scheduled to arrive at KDCA @21:29:xx and scheduled to depart KDCA@21:13:xx. Same for t he second leg, arrival @ 9:30, departure @ 9:12.

This doesn't work well
