There's an entire forum JUST for this..... go to the 'Adding Aircraft Traffic (AI)' forum right below the FS98 forum  ;)

Heya Texas_Raiders

Another Texan?  Look for me flying around Addison Airport (KADS)...Welcome to SimV!

As far as your question concerning a tutorial about installing AI Aircraft there is a fine one written by Royi Sher that you can download here at SimV:

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb.cgi?section=misc&file=AI_Tutorial.zip

Myself, I'm a big fan of the Ultimate Traffic payware from Flight One:

http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/

The reason that I'm a big fan of Ultimate Traffic is because everything is right here in one package.  There is some need to update the AI Aircraft, however, overall it's a great way to get commercial traffic into your FS 2004 with minimal fuss and hassle.

If you're looking for freeware commercial AI Traffic then go here:

http://www.projectai.com/

I highly recommend this site because it has everything here for free.  Add as much commercial AI Traffic or as little as you want.

For those hard to find commercial AI Traffic liveries go to

http://www.ai-aardvark.com/

If you're looking for more realistic AI General Aviation Traffic then search for a file named WORLD GA TRAFFIC (worldga.zip) by John Hinson.  He has recompiled the default FS 2004 GA Traffic to change the aircraft registrations as accurate for the area that they are flying in as well as altered the flightplans so that there is very little AI GA Traffic after dark.  A must have!
Happy Flying -- And may your main wheels always touch down first!
