How can I get Atc to use the new Ils that I added to my home aiport?

I beleve there is a way but not sure what it is. Try searching in this forum for that subject. I know there are some old posts to this same question. 8)

You can't - unless you want to get into programming approaches using the XML Scenery SDK. All your AI approaches will be visual but you will be able to use the ILS yourself.

Thanks for all your help this forum, rollerball you sure know ALL about this stuff! your posts have sure helped me get more outta FS9 by editing the AF2 files and learning how to fly their inherent limitations.

p.s. remember: with FS9's ATC "cleared for the visual approach . . . " one can still couple the crate to the newly added ILS ;-)
