INCREASING COMMERCIAL AIRLINE TYPE?

Postby coppershot » Tue Jul 20, 2004 12:04 pm

HELLO SIM MANIACS!
I HAVE 68 COMMERCIAL AIRLINE TYPES. I ALSO HAVE TTOOLS IN CONJUNCTION WITH PAI TRAFFIC AND SEVERAL AFCADS FOR MAJOR AIRPORTS WHICH WORKS GREAT, BUT ONLY ABOUT 2-3 COMMERCIAL AIRLINE TYPES SHOWS UP AT MY AIRPORTS. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN GET TO SEE IE. AIR JAMAICA, AEROFLOT, ALITALIA, AMERICAN, SINGAPORE ETC...? AND IS THERE ANY WAY TO ALSO SEE NON-DEFAULT AIRCRAFT AT MY AIRPORTS?
IF ANYONE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, I WILL DUB YOU FLIGHT SIMMER OF THE YEAR. TAHNK YOU.

after you run ttools it will give you a list of the airports that are in the flight plans look through these to see if your airport is listed. The PAI Plans can sometimes be old and may not include your airport.
You can always edit the list to add your airport and the plane of your choice.
Also make sure your AI traffic slider is set high enough to see the traffic at least 80 % or above. You also have to rember that these flights run on specific times so it is possable to not see any AI of a specific type at certain times as they are either outbound or inbound at the time you are there.

THANKS FOR RESPONDING GARMBUSKA, I WILL TAKE YOUR ADVICE ABOUT T-TOOLS BUT I HAVE INCREASED MY TRAFFIC TO 100% AND ALL THE NECESSARY IMPROVEMENTS THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. MY COMMERCIAL AIRLINES REPLACED THE DEFAULTS AI AIRCRAFTS. THEY ARE DEFAULTS THEMSELVES, JUST NEW TEXTURES AND CALL SIGNS WHICH WERE EDITED WITHIN THEIR CFG'S. WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS HOW CAN FS2002 RECOGNIZE THE INCREASED DEFAULT AI AIRCRAFT AND MAKE THEM APPEAR IN ABUNDANCE AT ALL MY AIRPORTS?

It sounds to me like all you need to do is to put make a flight plan for these aircraft than put it in with the rest of the AI flightplans.
There is a good tutorial for this somewhere on this site not sure where, try looking back through these posts and you should find it. 8)

Thanks to all for the help and suggestions you have given to me, including the typographical ones. I was just in a rush to get my thoughts out and because of frustration. I have solved my problem. My flightplans were all screwed up. But after several hours of fine tuning it. I won. Thanks to you guys once more.
