HELP:add AI into airport w no MS installed freqs?

HI.

I am trying to install some stock AI flying between some small airports here in southern NH.  I have both AFCAD and Airport for Windows and have had some experience modifying stuff.

I have used AFCAD to modify a small airport (KAFN) to add parking gates and taxiways and such.  They work fine and the locations work OK and all.  But there is no existing tower or radio frequencies for that airport in MS FS 2002.  You just make general announcements to the local traffic.  There is ATIS info though.

So.... I went to Airport and just added frequencies for ground and tower..... and compiled.  Did NOT add a runway or any other scenery.....just the radio freqs.

Radio dfreqs still do not show when I run "Fault Finder" in AFCAD.  Do I have to "add tower" in AFCAD?

Or.....in general ..... how do I do this?

I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with the "Airport" program you are using, but I do know that ATC can be added to any airport using AFCAD.  I believe the AFCAD manual contains good step-by-step instructions on how to do this.............

Thanks for the reply.

I have figured it out.  Something I did the first time I tried to add tower freqs didn't work.  Somehow I managed to assign a tower freq. ...... that for some reason didn;t work.

When I let the "random" freq. that AFCAD assigns just stay...... all works fine.

So I have added AI to four small airports "here" near me in southern NH..... and have checked out the traffic and the taxiways and all is OK.

So thanks.  I don;t know what I did..... but I have figured out how to get the job done.
