Can anyone help me on the next situation please:
Suddenly the com/nav radios of the default aircraft in FS 2004 (as well as any downloaded a/c using the default radios) are frozen. Impossible to change frequencies.
There is no apparent reason.
I have tried to overcome the problem by reloading the default aircraft (including the applicable gauges) but no joy.
Any suggestions?

Try making sure the avionics master switch is turned on

Avionics are on. Frequencies show in the displays.
Only problem is unable to make any change by clicking on them. I have been using FS 2004 for some time and never experienced this before.

You should have an entry in the aircraft.cfg similar to this...>>>

[Radios]
// Radio Type = available, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1       = 1
Com.1         = 1, 1
Com.2         = 1, 1
Nav.1         = 1, 1, 1
Nav.2         = 1, 1, 0
Adf.1         = 1
Transponder.1 = 1
Marker.1      = 1

This enables all the modules in the Radio Stack.

I checked the radio settings as you describe.
They are exactly the same in the applicable A/C cfgs.
The funny thing is: it appears only in A/C equipped with the Bendix radiosets.
I even removed and replaced all A/C and gauges concerned.
Result: unchanged, no freq. changes possible.
FS 2004 has been on my computer for many years and I know my way around (I think), but never encountered this before.

Very strange, Ron, as it only affects the Bendix-King radio stacks!

Have you tried shifting your main, existing fs9.cfg file into a spare folder (for safety), deleting the existing one, restart the Sim, and letting FS 2004 build a NEW fs9.cfg?

Location; Windows 7:
C > Users > you! > Application Data > Roaming > Microsoft > fs9 >....fs9.cfg

Sometimes this cures all sorts of strange problems!

Yes Paul, I even tranferred the complete FS2004 file to my external HDD; completely uninstalled FS on my C-drive, did a fresh installation, deleted the default a/c with the radioproblem and replaced them by the newly installed ones.
Result: no change....

God is not on your side, Ron!... ...!

I cant figure out why a complete re-installation of FS 2004 + 9.1 upgrade, didn't put all the Default stuff back again, including all the aircraft with the Bendix-King radio stacks!... ...!
Your default Beech Baron 58 should contain it now, in full working condition!
