seeking a map gauge

I have tried several map gauges but found none that met my needs.  The default FS9 map is fine except you must leave the cockpit to use it (why?  I don't know;  it's not a full screen map, on every system I've had it's a small map in the center of a black screen);  so something like this as a pop-up window would be fine.  It is oriented with north to the top;  hovering the cursor over ndbs, ILS feathers, etc. gives necessary information, it can be scrolled and zoomed.  The only thing I would add is a scale.  Is there such a gauge?

the only thing that comes to mind, is FSNavigator. (which support for has ended) you can find it here. TOP LISTING http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... or&x=0&y=0

I just d/l'd that a few days ago, after hearing it was now freeware.  Haven't yet installed it (sounds like a good project for this afternoon).  Thanks.

Thanks.  I had actually grabbed that a couple of months back, then was told it only worked in the US so haven't tried it (though admittedly that would still cover about 50% of my flying).  I see what I'll be doing this weekend.

another really good moving map system (if you have internet on the computer that it is going to be used on) is "Plan G".
