Can anyone direct me to where I can find and download WW11 US aircraft suitable for populating the scenery of Ford Island Hawaii?  :)

There is a dearth of Miltary aircraft (of any vintage) which can be used to "decorate" airports.

I've used FS02 and CFS models with some success. They are not as detailed of course but they don't give you a huge hit in frame rates either.

I know he's "right" but being "right" isn't always the same as being correct - but then, I'm Scottish and you're not  :).

And I think everyone on this forum, not of the English persuasion, appreciates that.

I didn't foresee that this simple question would provoke so much dialog unrelated to the question. Enough already.

Yes, its WWII not WW11.

And both the English (my mother's side) and the Scots (my wife's side) have senses of humour.

And I'm still searching for static US WWII aircraft circa 1940-3.  :-?

Thanks for this suggestion. I have the 3 versions so I will likely find the aircraft I want in CFS and CFS2. All I have to figure out is the right method for transferring them over as scenery. :)

You don't need to 'transfer' the over as scenery.
You will need to write some flightplans for them. If you use departure and arrival times of 00:00:00 and compile them with TTools you will get approximately a 15 minute window in the middle of the night when the aircraft will fly.
All other times they will just sit there adding realism to your airfield.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you need any assistance.

I've added FS02 and CFS models to FS9 with pretty decent results.

Here are a couple of examples.
