We have a number of different water packages for FS9, certain ones seem to work better with certain graphics cards.
Don't forget to backup your original files before installing new ones ;)

Have you used those packages? I tried them all on two different systems and none of them looked as good, or as close to FSX water as this combo does. I have a pretty low end graphics card and I'm impressed with how well this combo worked out. I can only imagine what it must look like on Holger's system.
Until Harold pointed this one out , REPro was about the best I had seen, and it was still not in the same league as this. If he is looking for FSX style water for FS9, then those other packs will surely disappoint him. Granted, it will never look as good as FSX, but it sure beats the default. ;)
I should have mentioned the back up process, but it is mentioned in that thread, and all of the read-me files of each of those packages.
Having that combo as one nice, convienient download would sure be nice. Might have to start contacting some authors and see what I can pull off. :)

One of the early ones (can't remember which now) looked stunning on my old rig with its Ti4600 8-)

Hmm, I'll have to look through them again and see if I can't improve on this combo then. Always up for trying new stuff. ;)

FSX may be activated by phone.

Just choose the phone option. Select your country and you will be given a number to phone.

It is the same as activating windows via phone.
