"Dirty Aircraft"

Anyone know of any repaints that do a good job of representing unwashed or weathered aircraft. (for freeware models) A good example of what I'm talking about would be the Simviation multi-player repaint for the default C182 by Carlo van Erp aka Sir Crashalot.

Can be found here: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props109.htm

None that I have seen. But there are dirty civil jets at POSKY and some here at simv etc.

Groundbound,

thanks for mentioning my feeble attempts on repainting.

If you want a dirty aircraft, try the AC520 by Milton Shupe. Especially the Lands End Cargo version needs a good cleaning and repainting. I'll try to find it and post a link.

Yeah, Shupe's AC520 is cool (had that one already) but it's a little over the top from what I'm looking for. Scratches and oil stains are more to my liking. Not a big deal though, I may take up repainting as a side hobby soon anyway. Cheers all!

I don't know if you fly GA only or fly some big jets too, but Posky has some great planes that look dirty and used. Example.

That's the ticket! Used not abused!
