Hello :) can someone tell me a good free Aircraft add-on manager that works and works well for MSFS2004.
I have over 800 :o aircraft and need help finding and fixing them :-/
I went in and renamed my aircraft (c150 to Cessna 150 and so on) and now have lots of sounds that are wrong or not working some paints don't show up :'(
Any help would be great ;D
Thanks

Yer gonna hate this, but you shot yerself in the foot by renaming the aircraft. Sounds and panels that are ALIASED, are ALIASED to the TITLE on the MAIN aircraft folder.

Such as...Beech_King_Air_350

if you change that to, say... Beechcraft King Air 350

OTHER aircraft that ALIAS TO (USE) those sounds, or that panel, will now have NO sounds or panel

The ONLY fix I know of is to find the ALIAS file and change to the NEW name,

such as...

[fltsim]
alias=Beech_King_Air_350\panel

would have to be changed to,

[fltsim]
alias=Beechcraft King Air 350\panel

And no, with 800 aircraft, you will have NO fun doing this.

I just leave them the way the are...What was the point of changing the folders name? They show up fine in FS9... ::)

Anyway, try using the Utility at this website.  ;)

Thanks for the replys :)
(Allen_Z)  I knew someone would tell me that :-[
Oh well see you guys next year when I am dunn :'(
(Asher) I just wanted to be able to find all the aircraft to do mods like sound, panel, and textures and the way some are named it's hard to find them with over 800 aircraft, So I shot myself in the foot :-? :-/ :( :-[ :'( Now I can spend the next year or so fixing my screw up :'( But lets look at the bright side think of all the fuel I will save by not flying ;)
Thanks
