I don't know the program(s) I need or how to install them. Someone help me

I like the carrier in San Diego bay and land on it... well bolter off of it- all the time. LOL my favorite jet (FS KBT F/A-18F) can't stop on it. I need one of those add ons. Or can it even be done in FSX yet?
Thanks guys

I think Flight Deck 4 will give you what you want:

Can I use my own aircraft with it? Or do I have to use the ones it comes with?

I don't know. I don't have it but have seen a video posted on YouTube of a guy (he may have been from this board) landing Cessna's and the like on the carrier.
Maybe someone here knows something about Flight Deck and can shine some light on it.

Check the various libraries for "rcbco-30.zip"...
It's the updated for FSX carrier ops package that can be added to any aircraft.
There is a good readme file included that explains how to install and
use the package. It can also be used on the FSX moving carriers, using
the "global zone" feature.

It's fairly easy to land the F14 on the static carriers and to stop before going off the end with airbrake and full brake from an 8-10 alpha approach, but only along the main deck.

Wow thanks thats exactly what I had in mind.
But it looks a bit too complicated for me to pull off without screwing everything up.

Give yourself more credit. These things are fairly simple to figure out after a bit. If you still don't get it, try reading the Readme file! ;)

The Flight Deck 4 for FSX is what your looking for. It self loads to save you time and problems. The aircraft it comes with are F-18, EA-6, C-2, S-3B, E-2C, SH-60. The carrier is CVN-76 Ronald Regan. The program cost $30.00. well worth the money plus excellent tech support. The carrier has 4 location: San Diego, China, Greece and India. I have the program and love it!
