Hi, as some of the very helpful members on this forum will know I am upgrading my system and getting more into FS9. I am looking for some essential downloads, mainly texture and scenery updates and upgrades that are global rather than location specific as I don't really have a favourite airport or country. I've seen things like Airport environment update 7 I believe, but is there anything else I should get, like effects and misc add-ons that will greatly improve my sim.

Look for Nick's Lightfix. It's somewhere in Misc. downloads I believe. Greatly improves the lights on planes and airports. There is also Airport Enviroment 7 which improves your airport textures.
