I was wondering if anybody has made some cable zones and catapult launches for FSX.
I have the carrier but I need cable zones and catapult launches.

Pretty sure that doesn't work in FSX.  Wouldn't have worked in FS9, since FS is primarily a civil sim, hence no support for carrier landings.

You're probably gonna have to wait for someone to hack that one.  It could take awhile, although you might be able to use one of the versions availble for FS9.  Just contact the authors and ask if they are compatible, or if not then ask if they are making an FSX-compatible version.

If you still need help: in FS2004, carrier operations were made possible by the ArrCab tool or the RCBCO gauges. ArrCab is an external program that must run parallel to FS2004 and works with any aircraft. RCBCO is a set of gauges that must be integrated into an aircraft's panel, which is a little more complicated, but offers you 1) an (optional) gauge to set catapult launch speed via the panel and 2) an (optional) HUD-like gauge that indicates air speed, heading, direction and distance to next cable catch zone and ILS-like position indicators. (ArrCab does NOT feature this gauges.) I prefer RCBCO.

Both require FSUIPC.DLL to work, and both use the same definitions in text files to define catapult launch and cable catch zones. A new version of FSUIPC for FSX was released recently, and can be obtained at http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html. I have no experience with FSX, but the simviation compatibility guide says most aircraft from FS2004 should work, and if their panels work, too, you have a good chance that the RCBCO gauges and the new FSUIPC work like in FS2004, which would make carrier landings possible. I'd give it a try.
