is there a freeware progam or module or whatever that makes lakes ice over at a certain temperature? that would be awesome if a lake became iced over and you could land on it with a ski or tundra tire equipped plane

I think it would also be nice if we had icy runways too.

Icy runways are not a problem, if they are always icy, that can be done in afcad.

I know that could be done in AFCAD, but I was thinking of ice patches only during the winter. I am not sure if you can do that but it would be nice if someone could.  :)
