Small question: did you test it on the Project Tupolev planes too, as they tend to produce very different results compared to normal FS9 planes when changeing landing light FX
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

I can not possibly test every aircraft ... you can test it.. you can install just the landing lights from my package and revert back easily.

or...
post a link to the aircraft and I can look at it..

That looks nice, Nick. An off topic question, but which AI do you use?

I am downloading the latest Project Tupolev and the updates for it now.. when I get it installed I will post screenshots of the lights edited into this post:

EDIT:

The FX works with the plane but there are problems and I see why too. The model file has the landing lights improperly aligned. The model will not work with a texture that is not designed to be directional and specific for the angle of the light on the model. That was a mistake on the part of the model designer. To fix it requires the construction of a special landing light for the Project Tupolev aircraft or the inacuracy in the model be fixed

EDIT:
I REMOVED IMAGES TO REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE THREAD TO COMPLY WITH FORUM RULES.

It still looked OK with my add-on but its a shame not much attention was paid to the landing light positions in the model file

OK thanks!
Besides, I have already found it also on another site.
A site which I understand is not much loved here.

I'm telling Nick in case he doesn't know.

This image demonstrates why most landing light textures do not work with this model. The designer needs to fix this problem:

is that with the lights extended or retracted?

LOL!!!

I dont read Russian,,, Normally hittiing the "L" key will extend the light housings. I will reboot the plane and see if there is a difference by using the panel switches and post back.

EDIT:
I see the light housings will not extend by using the L key... My landing light texture works fine with the PT aircraft. I thought it quite strange the aircraft developer would have overlooked the landing light angles

I upload to 4 major sites equally.

FlightSIM
Surclaro

Being freeware, everyone should have a chance to enjoy it.

The site I'm talking about is not one of those four, but it's ok, since you are comfortable with it.  :)
