Dumping

Howdy doody peepums

Just wondering, is there anyone out there that has heard of/has an effect for fuel dumping? The POSKY 747 has a vapour effect that looks like it has small contrails coming out of the wing tips, but it also has the clouds coming off the wing itself. Which to be honest, looks gut wrenchingly bad, especially if you want to use it as vapour effects, so I dont know why anyone would. If somebody could tell me the name of the *Main* wing effect, so i could delete it, it would be great.
Also, anyhelp as to how to install it on other aircraft would be good.

Cheers,
Alex

P.S. Does the dumping switch on Ken mitchells A320/3/40 actually have any effect on the FOB? I couldnt tell if it did, mind I didnt take a huge amount of time to investigate. Could you tie the dumping effect to this button?

Thanks again  ;D

The dumping switch on Mitch's Airbus panels does in fact reduce fuel on board - I wrote the gauge that does it...
My gauge is triggered by an XML variable in one of the other gauges.  You would need to do a little XML coding to tie an effect to this process...
Not sure about the POSKY model, as I haven't installed it.

Thanks for your feekback,
And may I congratulate you on being a part of one the the Best panels out there, its really great, the reason I asked is sort of because I thought it too good to be true!

Cheers,
Alex

BTW, does it reduce the amount of FOB in a realistic way? How many gallons/min?

The rate can be changed by the front end XML gauge.  Any suitable rate can be selected.  I'm not sure what rate Mitch picked for the Airbus panels.

Great, could you tell me how I could change this, and actually, what would be a realistic amount? Do you knwo of any 747 panels which have you guage included?

Cheers,
Alex
