FS9 videos in a usable format?

Can anyone tell me if there is any good freeware out there for recording Flight Simulator 2004 videos in a more useful format (wma, avi etc..)? I've tried the free version of FRAPS but my res won't go down to 640x480.
Can anyone help or am I on a wild Goose chase?

You could try gamecam, but I'm unsure of its max resolution. I don't know the link off the top of my head so try googling it.

i could never get gamecam to work does it work fine and is it payware {i forgot}
