First, wrong forum

Second, did you search here? A simple search pulled this up
http://www.simviation.com/fs2002misc10.htmI don't know if it works in FS9, but you can try

eh, good point there, although no-one has moved it so it seems OK.
I've already looked at that package and it's only the sound, I was hoping for sound and visual effect

...although, as Hagar has said, you don't hear the sonic boom inside the plane...

Hi,
You will find such an audible/visible SonicBoom effect for FS9 in my freeware Carrier Operation Package, available as file RCBco-20.zip on flightsim.com and avsim.com.
A.o. for an F14 and F18.
And for the real clever people ;D :
Yes, obviously the boom sound shouldn't be audible in the cockpit. Hence I allready made a patch on this addon, so the sound is only audible when you fly in SpotPlane view ...
Cheers, Rob Barendregt

I downloaded the sonic boom for FS2002 and tried to put it on my F14b in FS2004 but it said something about how it couldn't load the gauges.
Is there any sonic boom gauges for FS2004 where you don't have to download a bunch of airplanes or aircraft carriers or whatever.

Actually, I designed the sonic boom visual FX for robs carrier package
I did have a package that I was working on called:
Bustin-AIR
...but never completely finished and released it. It included just the mach envelope visual, sound and a gauge to trigger it. The sound would not be heard in the cockpit.
If I get some time I will finish it up and release it.
