London scenery

Postby Trundle » Tue Jun 28, 2005 5:24 pm

I am thinking about buying some scenery, London and othe major A.P around the U.K
Is it worth the money and how realistic are they.

Thanks.

For London scenery.....VisualFlight London
I have this package, bu because my graphics card sucks (RAM needs upgrading too ::)), having it anywhere close to looking good rapes my frame rates big-time! ><

As for major airports, I'd probably go with UK2000

UK2000 is surprisingly cheap considering how good/accurate some most of the airports/airfields are :)

Cheers,
Carl

Yeah, it's hard finding decent payware addons with low spec machines. :(

I just tried the VisualFlight London scenery again, this time with the settings at minimum...better FPS and not too much loss of detail either.

Still need that RAM tho :(

I'm trying to work on a freeware one that won't be as resource heavy, bu I'm new to design...so y'know...;)

I'd still recommend the UK2000 airports tho :D
They're not too bad on frames and pretty realistic too :)

I'd say it's a code red too...FS2006 will probs struggle on our current machines ::)

Cheers, I'm still not sure how much time I'll be able to put into it, the gf likes her attention! ;)
