Andrew,

Yes there is...... but I can't remember the name of the file right now.  I think it is comething like "coldanddark".  A search for "cold and dark" should find it.

best,

..You could do as has been suggested many times by different guys, just create your flight, shut down to a "cold and dark" situation then save as the default flight............commoner ;)

You could load the default cessna and shut her down completely then switch to your plane.

Or doesn't that work ???

I do the same as commoner...!

Park the aircraft in a suitable place.
Apply the hand-brake.
Shut everything down as required in the Pilots Notebook.
Battery/Generator switches to off.
Ensure all mags are switched to "off"
Set throttle to minimium.
Leave mixture to full weak.
Cancel carburettor heat.
Set prop(s) to fine.
Re-set trim controls and flaps for next take-off.
(Remove the battery, take it over to the FBO to get it re-charged ready for the next flight).
Save the Flight.

Then for the next flight, do the pre-flight checks in the Pilots Handbook for the flight before starting up...!

Paul.

Fantastic fun...!

Is that what people call a "situation file" or is that different?
