In what general location? Canada, USA?
The L&L of Portland, Maine, is somewhat different than that of Portland, Oregon, and London, England, a bit different than London, Ontario.
Named Langdon Island during the American Revolution, there is a Badger Island at the Piscataqua outlet between Kittery, Maine, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire; the old US Route 1 is bridged across the Piscataqua River there. (@ N43.+, W70.7~).
Another, is in the Tasmanian area, south of Australia (I'd guestimate @ S40.20, E147.50 or so).
Another place by that name is near the southern shores of the Great salt Lake in Utah, USA, but I don't have a guestimation at the moment.
